What to do with the flower bulb?

  • The flower bulb has given all its energy to make the (cut) tulip shine. That’s why it won’t bloom again.
  • You can leave the flower bulb attached to the tulips:
    ➤ Place them in a vase or bowl with just a small layer of water. Only the roots need water!
  • Or you can cut off the flower bulb:
    ➤ Cut the flower bulb (at an angle) from the stem and place the tulips in a beautiful vase with plenty of fresh water.
🌷 How to enjoy your tulips for as long as possible 🌷

✔️ First, place the tulips in a vase wrapped in paper or foil for an hour. This allows them to soak up water and straighten themselves.
✔️ Choose a clean, tall vase, as tulips continue to grow a few more centimeters.
✔️ Cut about 1.5 cm off the stem before placing them in the vase.
✔️ Keep tulips away from fruit bowls and direct sunlight.
✔️ Tulips drink a lot of water, so make sure to refill the vase regularly.
